Sunset in Santa Fe
My fabulous, wonderful, awesome, delightful, generous friend Marcia, booked a flight for me last week to visit her in Santa Fe next month. I’m SOOOOO excited.
Marcia gets flight coupons from Southwest Airlines through her credit card and was happy to share with me. Thank you, Marcia!
Santa Fe is one of my very favorite places in the world. There’s something about this hot-pepper infused area that just makes me feel like I’m “home”. The adobe houses. The southwest/Tex-mex/Mexican food. The Native American art. The high desert. The mountains.

Living there would be difficult since jobs are scarce and salaries low. But I’ve often fantasized about having a second home there or being able to say, “I split my time between Santa Fe and France.” (France is where Jon wants to split his time.)

For now, I’ll look forward to a few days in New Mexico in August. That’s enough time to get my fill of fresh guacamole and huevos rancheros.

Definitely thinking alike! I live in France, but a trip I took to Santa Fe during college is etched in my mind as if it was yesterday – there was a certain mood in town, it was just so easy to be there… Have a great trip!

YOU will love Santa Fe – Once upon a time there was a restaurant called “LA CASA SENA” if it is still there the food was great and they had their own White wine that was amazing. Post pictures when you return.
Safe Travels
