Phew.
It’s been a long haul but my latest book, Wanderlust and Lipstick: For Women Traveling to India is off to the printer’s. I’m just waiting for a proof so that the print run can begin!
I have to give a shout out to all the gals whom I interviewed for the book. There were about 35 in all and they shared some great stories and tips for travel to the subcontinent. Thanks, ladies!
This book seemed to be more difficult to write than my first book, The Essential Guide for Women Traveling Solo. It may have been because I had to do more research and there was more room for error. I’ve been teaching Solo travel workshops for years so it rolled out of me relatively easily. I had to spend a lot of time on India, burning plenty of incense and listening to A LOT of sitar music in the process.

That sound you hear is the wild applause coming from just a few miles south. Many, many congrats. I can’t wait to see the book!
Beth,
This is exciting news about your book. Boy, you cranked out that baby fast!
Thanks for attempting to hook up on your last trip through the Bay Area. Hoperfully I’ll be better about getting together when you are promoting your latest book.
You go, girl!
