Next month I’ll be heading off to Asia. Specifically, Thailand and Bhutan and temps in Bangkok will surely be in the 90’s. It’s hard for me to imagine this fact when, over the last week, we’ve seen snow, hail and rain here in Seattle.
With a bit of imagination, I’ve had to start thinking about what I’m going to pack for the trip (yes, I’m thinking about what to pack for a trip that’s still 5 weeks away!). Though I’m currently wearing my flannel PJ’s at night (OK, and sometimes when I’m working, like right now), these bulky Pajamagram faves never come with me on the road. What I do carry, are a set of PJ’s from Cocoon.
I’m currently digging their Adventure Nightwear made of Egyptian cotton. The nicest feature is that these, along with all of their PJ’s, can be packed down into a small mesh bag (included). Determined to always pack light, this is a big draw for me.
Though Cocoon has a lovely line of silk nightwear, even in the heat, silk tends to make me chilled. That’s why I like the cotton ones best. And Egyptian cotton, for those not in the know, is very lightweight and quick-to-dry, making them perfect for travel as you can easily give these a washing in the sink and they’ll dry by end of day.
Be forewarned, however, that their sizes tend to run a little large. Though I appreciate the comfort of having a bit of extra room, even the small size feels a bit baggy on me (but not enough that they’ll stay in my drawer while I’m out globetrotting).
These are available on the company’s website, Design Salt, or you can browse a few of their other items on Amazon.
Travel Well!
Beth
