Edited by Doug Lansky, this collection of humorous tales from various travel writers will bring you more than a few chuckles.
For example, The Art of Riding a Third World Bus by Lansky himself is particularly hilarious for those of us who have actually done it. As for This Land is Mine by Paul William Roberts, anyone who has lived, traveled or worked in the Middle East will surely get a kick out of it as I did. And Heeding the Call, by Donna Marazzo brought back side splitting memories of a similar incident my husband and I went through with a friend while driving through Poland in a snowstorm.
Many other exerpts were equally entertaining. If you’re feeling the need to remember the comedy of life on the road, pick up a copy. This title is sure to do the trick.
