I have a weakness for limestone peaks in Asia, which I find hauntingly beautiful. Here are photos from three different countries: the landlocked hills along the the Li River in winter, not far from Guilin, China; one of the many islands off the coast off tropical Krabi, Thailand; and the limestone pinnacles found on an overcast day in Ha long Bay, Vietnam. They are all stunning- despite heavy tourism. The same, yet different.
