Singapore is known for its outstanding restaurants. Our friend, Charlene, a native Singaporean, recommended Jumbo Seafood for its chilli crabs, a local specialty. The crabs are stir-fried in a chilli gravy and come with deep-fried buns for dipping. You eat them with your hands, and aprons are available on demand. Spicy and delicious!
There are several branches of Jumbo, but we dined at the one near the indoor stadium, which offers lovely al fresco dining along the Kallang River.
