Lion in Serengeti National Park
Though I’ve always met interesting people in my travels, it’s been in the last few years (since launching the Wanderlust and Lipstick series) that my travel network has grown tremendously and some truly amazing people have crossed my path. My friend, Leslie Nevison, is one of them.
Leslie lives in Vancouver, Canada part of the year and Africa the rest of the time. It’s in Tanzania that she started a safari tour business called Mama Tembo Tours. There are many people with tour companies specializing in safaris but what sets Leslie apart is her integrity and commitment to her clients, including her desire to provide the very best safari experience for each participant as well as her love of Africa, including its culture and wildlife.

I’m teaming up with Leslie to promote one of her upcoming migration safaris in February. This 15-day trip will include a wide mixture of cultural experiences and incredible scenery. You’ll have the chance to meet members of the great Maasai tribe and have the chance to see monkeys, birds, black rhinoceros, lions, hyenas, elephants, wildebeets, zebras, Serval cats, cheetahs and lions. You’ll see many of these in large numbers as they make their way along their migration routes.
Though I probably won’t be joining this trip, I can guarantee that you’re in good hands with Leslie. If you have any interest at all in visiting Africa and joining a small group tour, consider this special trip.
If you have any questions, please email me at beth at wanderlustandlipstick dot com or see the full itinerary for a full description of this trip.
