I’ve had it with airline travel blankets. Do you know just how gross these over-used, rarely washed blankets really are? I can’t even go into the details without feeling just a little creepy.
Luckily, I recently discovered an excellent alternative to the blankets that airlines consider “perks” and for which they are now charging!
The Coolmax Travel Blanket from Cocoon is lightweight yet nice and warm. Yes, I’m small at 5’2″, but it’s big enough to cover most people from shoulder to toes at 55 x 70 inches. A compact nylon bag is included, making it easy to just toss in your day bag or carry-on.
It’s not just for planes either. With five different colors to choose from, it’s perfect for car trips, camping and just lounging around the house.
Please do yourself a favor… don’t buy into the airlines’ new policy of charging for blankets and instead pull out the Coolmax!
