Time is running out for you to win a BRX Explore 19 Upright carry-on bag from Briggs & Riley!
You’ve got three chances to win and it only takes a moment.
1. Subscribe to the Wanderlust and Lipstick Newsletter during the month of June and you’ll be automatically entered.
2. Subscribe to my RSS feed (at right) via email or in a reader. If you subscribe in a reader, leave me a comment below stating that you’ve subscribed. Please leave your email address (not made public) so that I can contact you if you’re the winner.
3. AND for those of you who are already subscribers, I’ve HEARD you. I know that you, too, want a way to be in the running. Simply leave a comment below (with your email address) and let me know to what exciting destination you would take your Briggs & Riley BRX Explore 19 Upright and why.
Check back here in early July to find out who the lucky one is. Winner will have 3 days to respond once being contacted.
Subscribe to the newsletter and the RSS feed, AND leave a separate comment about where you would bring your bag and you’ll have 3 chances to win!
So, what’s so special about the BRX Explore 19 Upright?
This bag weighs less than 7 pounds, making it one of the lightest wheeled uprights on the market! While Briggs & Riley states that this is good for a 2-3 day trip… you know me. I could live a month in this little case! HA HA.
- With a handle system on the outside, it allows for more space on the inside
- Nylon compression panels allow you to flatten your items inside
- Includes inside pocket as well as as front and exterior pockets for items you need to get to quickly
- Front compartment stores a 16 inch laptop
Value: $260
This contest closes at 11:59 pm PST on June 30, 2010 and one lucky winner will be chosen on July 1, 2010.
Please note that Briggs & Riley is able to ship to the U.S. and Canada only.
Travel Well,
Beth

I want to win this! My rolling carry-on is falling apart and I have lots of traveling to do!
I’ve already been to all 7 continents and am starting on the next go-around. Upcoming trips include a Bahamas cruise, river barging in Europe, Fort Lauderdale, Toronto, Cancun…the list goes on. If I don’t have a travel plan for every month I start to get antsy… I try to carry-on everywhere I go so I’m not at the mercy of the airline baggage handlers…I went to Thailand for 2 weeks with just carry on. I SO could use a sturdy, reliable bag!!

What a fantastic giveaway. My husband and I are planning a trip up the coast in California and plan to hit San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. This would be a wonderful addition. I might even be able to pack in one bag! π

I too subscribed by email. Let me just say that I stored all my luggage in the garage when I started to remodel my house. Bad idea. Sparing you the gruesome details, suffice to say RATS. I could use a new bag. Even if I don’t win it, I’ll have to check it out, it sounds like a great bag.
I’m hoping to take BOTH my little ones (4 and 2) to London this Fall.
Cheers!
J.

15 hour plane flight,
15 hor train ride,
crazy? perhaps, but I’ve done it.
When they see my W&L tag and the camel on my luggage,
how fun to be able to say that I won it!

Finally after 43 years of waiting, I am getting a stamp in my passport and heading to Ireland. Ironically I have spent the last month looking for a bag like this to take with me. Regardless of winning, thanks for Wanderlust and Lipstick, without the book and your words I would never have the courage to do this solo trip and may never have left home. Maybe next trip will be to India with your group. Have a great day!!!

It has been a life long dream of mine to explore my
paternal grandmother’s life in Calais, France. All I
know thus far, is that she came over on cattle ship
with her parents to Ellis Island when she was 13. She
passed away before I was born. Calais is where I would
love to take my Briggs & Riley BRX Explore 19 Upright.
Thanks very much to you…Cindi

I just subscribed to the RSS & newsletter, after finishing the W&L guide to India. My husband and I will be moving to Northern India for three (3!) years while he teaches English & Math up there — and we’ll be leaving almost directly from our wedding reception. We’re slack-jawed at the opportunity and have realized we’re a bit short on really solid luggage, and this would be a fantastic thing. π
