I am a carry-on gal. There’s no doubt about it.
For longer trips, I obviously need a bag that’s a bit larger than a tote, but for weekend getaways, I recently tested out the Isabella Fiore Carry-on Tote.
This bag was the perfect size for my 3-day getaway to Dallas. For such a short trip, I was able to pack relatively light, with only a couple of changes of clothes, some gifts, reading material and toiletries. And this tote was the perfect size to handle everything, with room to spare.
Highlights for me? It was roomy enough to hold everything I needed. It’s quite sturdy, a bag that seems like it will hold its own for a long time to come. There’s a convenient exterior pocket for easy access to smaller items and a band which can be used to secure the bag to the handle of a larger piece of luggage.
The design will likely appeal to a lot of women out there, but I admit that I felt a little high-maintenance with such a girly-looking bag 🙂
The one major downside to this bag is the lack of a shoulder strap. I had to haul this around the airport with me by either holding the straps in my hand or carrying it over my arm with elbow bent. Either way, it was quite weighty and uncomfortable.
Having said that, I wouldn’t hesitate to take this on a road trip, where I wouldn’t have to carry it around a lot. But as a an actual carry-on? Mmmm, this doesn’t work for me so much.
This bag is currently only available at Dillard’s and retails for $180.
Travel Well,
Beth
