I did, however, recently add the Ameribag to my collection, and am glad to have it as an option for when I don’t want to carry a full-size backpack but need more room than my purse can accommodate.
The Ameribag can easily carry 4 books, a cell phone, wallet, a couple of pens and a camera. With plenty room for more.
While the bags are made in a variety of materials, sizes and shapes, mine is made of lightweight, water resistant microfiber. The best feature is that the Ameribag totes hang asymmetrically and redistribute the weight through the length of the whole back. Ultimately, it takes stress off of your shoulders, neck and back. Great if you’re going to spend the day sightseeing and don’t want your pack weighing you down.
The interior includes lots of pockets, both zippered and open, allowing you to easily organize and access small items.
The bag has a rather large opening which ends up sitting under your arm and while this is a deterrent for someone who may consider trying to get into your bag, you’ll still want to keep this close to your body or carry the bag over your head and shoulder so that it can’t be snatched away.
I’m pretty darn excited to use this in my travels and around town.
