This summer we visited New York, where we enjoyed the new pedestrian plaza at Times Square. We were surprised – amused might be a better word – by the 376 lawn chairs placed throughout the area, providing excellent people-watching opportunities.

oh my god, I was just there about a year ago, everything moves and changes sooo fast in NYC! I’m going back in 2 months, I think it will be too cold for this.

I read that the reviews, when the chairs appeared in June, were mixed. We liked them. I believe they have since been replaced by more sturdy metal tables and chairs.
