Debby Lee's long-time dream of traveling has led her to many parts of the world, and has given her experiences during her travels that have been beyond her wildest dreams. The majority of her experiences have been from solo trips, although she has done traveling with friends and family as well. Debby's first solo adventure was a two-week trip through Alaska that began with a ferry through the Inside Passage, just to test the waters of solo travel. Debby followed that with her longest solo journey, a five-month backpacking trip through 17 European countries, done in her late 30's. A hiking and cycling vacation took her through parts of Vietnam. And, Debby’s most recent solo voyage was circumnavigating the Baltic Sea, visiting seven capital cities in just 15 days!

Travels with friends or family have taken Debby to New Zealand, Australia, and Iceland. In her early 20's, she took a three-month drive in an RV through 33 of the United States.

Debby considers herself a backpacker/budget traveler, but she will also pay for something that she really wants to do. Her travels are a mix of outdoor adventure, cultural activities, tourist activities, connection with people, and enjoying getting off the beaten path. Some of her greatest experiences have happened not only because she was traveling solo, but also because she does not always follow what the guidebooks say.

Please join Debby Lee as she shares stories from her travel dreams, mostly from the solo trips she has taken. And, please see her first blog for an explanation of "Tea, Sugar, a Dream".

Sweet Travels!

till the cows come home…

Cows are quite the unhurried animal. Kind of like the tortoise, as opposed to the hare. They take their own sweet long time making their way home. Thus the notorious phrase.
