Empanadas in Cozumel, Mexico
It’s Wanderfood Wednesday and it’s time to savor Empanadas from Cozumel, Mexico. As part of a food tour with the Cozumel Chef, I enjoyed shrimp and edam cheese empanadas as well as others made with slow roasted pulled pork and spices. They were delicious.
On your next visit to Cozumel plan a food tour with Emily, The Cozumel Chef. To read more about Emily’s food tours or cooking classes read my post, Food Tours That Take You Off the Beaten Path. Emily also offers chef services for special occasions and events.

Do you know how to spell empanadas in spanish? Y-U-M.
I love empanadas. Through my travels, I’ve realized that almost every culture has their version of a “meat pie” and I love them all. Cornish pasties, meat pies, empanadas, samosas, calzones, beouf en croute – I eat them all, whenever and wherever I can find them.
