Waking up in the winter months is rough. It’s still dark out when the alarm goes off, the bedroom is chilly and unwelcoming, your bed is oh so cozy and warm; all signs point to snooze.
Nothing says screw you winter like a nice pair of slippers.
The Bearpaw Loki II is not my first pair of Bearpaw slippers, but it is my favorite by far. They are the first thing I put on in the morning and the last thing I take off at night. The slip-on design makes it easy to get in and out of. Let’s be honest, at six in the morning, I need all the ease I can get.
The sheepskin lining keeps my feet nice and toasty as I brew my coffee and get ready for the day. I’ve noticed that as I use them more, the lining gives and the slipper seems to shape to my foot, making them even more comfy to wear. The slippers have a durable rubber outsole which I love when I have to go outside and grab something from my car. The grip is strong so I don’t worry about slipping on the slick frozen driveway.
The slippers make winter mornings all the more easier to get through. I love ’em and highly recommend getting a pair. If you wear a half size, I recommend (as does their website) going the size up, and they take a few wearings to break in. They’d make a great Christmas present, reasonably priced between $35-$50, depending on what store you shop from.
You can buy them here on Amazon.
