Snacks at High Tea Empress

I can snack all day long but large quantities of food in one sitting is not my style. High Tea at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, B.C. is so much more than finger food. I could probably live two days off of the amount of food that was served.

In addition to the sandwiches and scones, a fruit cup was served.

And, of course, there was tea. I choose a special blend from Darjeeling (Margaret’s Hope) because I discovered it on a recent trip to Darjeeling. Yup, THE Darjeeling. And there it was in Victoria, B.C.
