Ok everyone – synchronize watches for 8:30 pm this coming Saturday, March 27th. Get some flashlights and candles on the ready, and join millions of people around the globe in observance of Earth Hour 2010.
Now in its third year, Earth Hour is a collective call to action to address climate change that is heard around the world. At 8:30 local time, millions of people will simply turn off their lights, to show how effective we can be we all work together. In 2009, nearly one billion shut off the lights for Earth Hour.
Cities and landmarks have signed on to go dark for Earth Hour, including the Las Vegas Strip, the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Space Needle here in Seattle. You can click here to find out what’s happening where you are.
