The only watches I’ve ever owned have been heart rate monitors or durable, utilitarian, digital watches. Tell me the time, how many minutes I run for, and nothing more. That was my motto.
RumbaTime, based in New York City, designs colorful, high quality watches that are water-resistant, fashionable and fun. The watches caught my eye recently at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City. The Delancey ($45), with it’s clean, simple design, was the one for me. The silicone band feels smooth against my wrist, and the face is simple and easy to read. My first analog watch in a looong time! It’s so lightweight it barely feels like I have a watch on. No buttons to push, simple, straightforward, easy to use. Just set the time and go.
The real attraction for me to the Delancey was the color of the watch. I loved all of the colors in fact! They have so many to choose from, and the choices aren’t your standard blue and black (though they do have those). You can choose from colors like Fresh Squeeze, Grapesicle, Amazon, Sea Breeze (my favorite) and many others. And they have even more colors coming out for 2012.

I’m a big fan of the Delancey, and I’m looking forward to checking out their other styles. With almost 20 different watches to choose from, I’m thinking you’ll find your match.
You can buy the Delancey and other RumbaTime watches at their website, or you can buy it from Amazon here.

The Delancey watch was given to me for review, my opinions on the product are my own.
