Twitchhiker by Paul Smith is a laugh out loud true story of travel. His entire 30 day trip was planned via twitter. Paul’s plan, including the challenging travel rules he followed were created by Paul. He could accept offfers from people and companies on twitter; but couldn’t ask for anything. He could purchase food and drink and anything that fit in his suitcase. He could only plan three days in advance. When he was offered something he had 48 hours to accept it. If he had multiple offers he chose the one he liked best. When offers stopped coming and he had no means to travel futher he would go home. His book is filled with adventures, funny travel moments and the true hospitality of twitter followers around the world.
Paul, who lives in Britain will be traveling this time around the US. He departs for the US on April 25th. He wont be dependant on twitter, but will be writing and tweeting about his adventures. He hopes to meet up with some of his followers. You can follow Paul’s adventures on his website or on twitter.
