Installing a Wall Mural
I’ve always liked the idea of a mural; so when I began creating my new office I decided it was the time to design the tropical office of my dreams. Creating this dream required a bit of help in the form of my family and a company called Environmental Graphics.
An Eco Friendly Solution
This company has a great selection of wall murals including tropical choices such as Cinnamon Bay, Hawaiian Sunset and Ocean Breeze. Another wonderful reason to choose this company is their green perspective. Their products are environmentally friendly without the chemicals some products and paste include. With their mural and the assistance of my family I now have the tropical office I’ve always desired. It was exactly the right choice; the mural has transformed my office.
Directions and Installation
The mural came with clear directions and a help line for additional questions. The process of installing the mural took about three and a half hours from start to finish. For me the most difficult stage was measuring and using the level to mark the horizontal and vertical points at which the first of eight mural panels would be placed. I wanted to be certain it was exact due to the fact that all other panels are placed based upon the first one. They recommend starting with panel number 4, this panel is placed in the middle of the wall on the upper section. This makes the measurement process quite important.
The mural panels are simple to handle and easy to place, but take a little time, due to overlapping requirements. When placing new panels you must lift previously placed edges which takes time and requires additional paste to be certain all edges are firmly sealed. Each panel is also booked before hanging. Booking is a process in which the panel is pasted and then left for ten minutes to set while being folded in half. This booking process means the mural takes a bit longer than what you might expect for just eight panels, but the finished product looks amazing and will be something you can treasure for a long time to come.
