Being a Supertaster* of and therefor, long time hater of chlorine, I was thrilled to get a Camelbak Relay to try out. Sure there have been other filter pitcher options out there for a while, but for various reasons, none quite appealed to me. The Relay on the other hand, has a locking lid (no spills), filters fast (almost as fast as the faucet), twice (on the way in and out) and comes in great colors (Micronauts!). There is also a little date wheel on the top that you set to remind you when to change the filter. A really excellent, well thought out filter pitcher that I’m sure I’ll use for years.
UP:
- Locking lid
- Fast filtering
- Tap water no longer tastes like a swimming pool
- Micronauts!
Down:
- Pitcher is a little front heavy when full
- Wish the date dial was recessed as it tends to catch on the shelf above it.
