You might know them as Horny Toad, but these folks have just recently gone through a rebranding and are now Toad&Co. (Apparently some people were offended by their old name.)
Whatever you call them, I’m pretty darn happy they have just come out with a line of travel clothes. I visited REI recently and the salesperson was equally as thrilled and started showing me the hidden pockets found in each of the new pieces that REI carries.
I was happy to try out their new Corsica Dress, mainly because I know it’s going to be a great travel piece for my trip to Maui in April.
The low tail hem in the back is the first thing that attracted me to the Corsica. I love that asymmetrical look. The wide straps make it easy to wear with any bra (or even over a bathing suit).
The fabric is Toad&Co’s Aquaculture jersey knit which is stretchable–it’s polyester with 15% spandex–but also water-friendly and moisture-wicking. More reasons why it’ll be a great travel piece when I head to Hawaii.
Next to to the low tail hem, the best feature for me is the zip-slip hip pocket on the right sideseam where I can store some cash and my ID. I’m not sure this will totally eliminate the need for me to carry a small purse, but it sure is a nice safety feature.
Oh, and Toad&Co guarantees that if you don’t get a compliment within three wearings or you 
find something wrong with your dress, you can return it and they’ll make it right. What more could you ask for?

I would take it with me camping to put on after a day of hiking and a shower.

Its such a nice dress to think about warmer weather. Sometimes you just need something light and comfy for running errands in the heat of the summer. I think that is what I would use this for.
Dresses with pockets are so key! I’d wear this during the summer when I’m visiting my partner and we’re exploring Chicago together. 🙂

This would be perfect for my trip to India next month. I love the hidden pocket!! I have another dress from another company that has this and it is a godsend.

Stylish dress for the woman on the go. Versatile and great for warmer climates. I’d wear this dress strolling along the beach, watching a concert in the park, out to lunch or dinner or when visiting family and friends in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Hmm..I’d wear this cute travel piece to Moab, UT in May. I’ll be going hiking on day hikes for a week and staying at one of their motels. We’ll be going out to eat for dinner for a few nights. This would be nice and cool for the warm evenings and super stylish. Love it!

My sister and I love to travel and are always scoping out new places to go. Last year we stayed within Florida since I won year passes for 4 to Disney World. I would wear this dress on future trips – either car trips or air travel. Maybe even to New Zealand!
