I’ve admired other people’s Sherpani bags for a few years now. I love the name and the styling. Who knows why it’s taken me so long to have my very own! Likely because I’m always picking up those little rectangular shoulder bags when I travel to India. (You know the ones that start coming apart after a few months? I love them, but…)
Anyhoo, I’m happy to have the Sherpani Milli for my travels. While I really don’t like having to pack a bag into my bag, there are just too many times when I head off to a meal or to a coffee shop and don’t want to carry my full daybag. This little Sherpani is perfect. Just big enough to hold a cell phone, wallet, passport, sunglasses, hotel key and even my Kindle!
The shoulder strap is adjustable and long enough to put the bag over my head to prevent any bag snatchers from grabbing it.
The main compartment is zippered and there are 2 zippered pockets (one located on the outside of the flap and one on the outside of the main pouch) as well small inside pockets ideal for lip balm, pens and business cards. It comes with a detachable change purse AND the outer flap is magnetized so that it won’t open on you unexpectedly.
This does flatten down rather well so my concerns about it taking up room in my luggage isn’t a big issue after all. The convenience is outweighed by the small additional space it takes up in my bag.
Available for about $50 on Sherpani.
Travel Well!
