Omala Capped Sleeve Tunic – WanderGear Wednesday

| POSTED IN:> Gear

Omala-Cap-Sleeve-Tunic-OrchidA few years ago, I don’t think anyone would have considered that they’d be wearing bamboo. But this sustainable and renewable resource ain’t just for flooring anymore.

The Omala Capped Sleeve Tunic makes for a pretty comfy top and is an easy choice for travel given its versatility – you can wear it with jeans or leggings AND out to dinner or to the gym. This means you have fewer items to pack.

And, isn’t it just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?

It’s made of a bamboo/cotton/spandex blend so there’s a bit of give (great for flying when you want a bit of stretch) and is machine wash and dry.

Note that the front bodice is closed so it can be worn alone but my preference is to wear it with a camisole. Add a scarf and you’ve got a semi-dressy top.

I recently took this to Hawaii with me and found it to be a great item for that climate (warm – no need to wear a jacket). But it can just as easily work as a layered piece if you’re going to be somewhere cooler. And since I usually go to the gym when I travel, it’s an excellent post-workout cover up.

This Omala top is available directly from their website for $75 and is currently available in navy and pewter.

Travel Well!
