It seems there are a gazillion options today in terms of shoulder bags. Many of them have very similar features – with good reason – they are features we all use and come to expect.
The bags from Haiku are a bit different, however. In addition to being a great bag – with all the features we love – they are a really styling line of products.
The Tribute bag, for example, is a day bag that is a bit bigger than it looks. I can actually fit my netbook in this little guy, or if I want to pack it up for the day, it’ll hold a book or two, a bottle of water and a camera.
The main compartment zips shut and there are 2 outer pockets where you can toss in your keys or a cell phone. The strap, of course, is adjustable, so it’s suitable for any body type.
OK – so it’s practical. But this, and other Haiku bags, are different because of the feminine touch added to each bag. Notice the stitched designs. And each item in the Rumi line includes a poem from the great poet. To me, this is a gentle reminder to stop and smell the roses.
If you’re not after a big shoulder bag, consider something small like the Rumi Pocket. This is great for when you’re headed out for a few hours and just need some cash and your digital camera and don’t want to carry a big bag. OR it’s perfect for keeping those items separate within the larger shoulder bag.
An added bonus is that Haiku products are made from post-consumer, recycled beverage bottles – so you can feel good about what you’re carrying.
