I’m on the road this week with a few speaking gigs!
Today I’m speaking at The Travel Bloggers Show in Orlando. This is an event that is part of The Trade Show, where representatives for hotels, tourism boards, etc. can meet travel agents to bring awareness to their destinations and services. This is the first time that travel bloggers have been invited to present a day of workshops and I think it’s going to be really exciting.
Chris Elliott, everyone’s favorite consumer advocate, and Ed Hasbrouck, the Practical Nomad, will be speaking. And I’m honored to be on a panel with Janice Waugh, Matt Kepnes, Jeanine Barone that’s moderated by Kim Mance.
But wait! There’s more!
I’m then off to Colorado where I’ll be speaking on Tuesday night (September 14, 7 p.m.) at Changes in Latitude in Boulder Colorado. Though the mood will, I’m sure, be somewhat somber due to the wildfires there, I’m so excited to be heading to this fantastic city. THEN, I’ll be at Colorado Bag ‘n Baggage in Littleton on Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. At both events I’ll be signing FREE copies of The Essential Guide for Women Traveling Solo and both of the Colorado events are sponsored by PacSafe!
Swing on by if you’re in the ‘hood -Â would love to meet some more Wanderlusters either in Orlando or in Colorado!
Travel Well!

Darn – I’m about an hour and a half south of Littleton but won’t be able to sneak away! I would’ve loved to say hello and to get a copy of the “traveling solo” guide. 🙂
