I had the pleasure of spending one night in the Jane Suite at Warwick New York Hotel. It was the quietest night I’ve ever spent in the city. It was actually the quietest night I’ve spent anywhere.
The furnishings and artwork have been carefully curated with tasteful nods to Jane Russell sprinkled throughout the space.
Each corner is unique and luxurious. There is nothing cookie-cutter about this space. Right down to the gigantic bed. I’ve never slept in a bed so huge! If you’re on the taller side, you will not be disappointed. Plus, it was extremely comfortable. Firm without being hard and just soft enough to feel cozy. Perfection.
The foyer is filled with a great collection of books and there’s plenty of room to entertain guests. The open concept of the main room flows elegantly from dining area, to living room, to office. The office area offers a stately desk and chair that somehow remain subtle.
When it was time for me to check out, I needed to FedEx a few items home. The hotel staff made it very easy for me to do this by bringing up packing materials and then escorting me to their very own shipping office. It was all taken care of in under 30 minutes and I never had the leave the building.
The Jane Suite is so comfortable and peaceful, I was sad to leave. Any stress I picked up from my previous days in the city melted away. I would move in if I could. It was that lovely.
Bonus: Staying at Warwick New York puts you in close proximity to the LOVE sculpture, which I walked by several times.
May your journey be your muse,
Rachel
