Summer is coming! I know because it’s almost warm enough to whip out this Royal Robbins Breeze Thru Tank Dress in rich raspberry and sip on margaritas poolside. Why wait, though? Just nab this dress and jet off to Hawaii. You know, if it’s in the budget.
This little number is simple, sporty, and high quality. I have been styling it for early spring (with tights, boots, and a canvas jacket), but this dress is definitely more of a beachy, wear-over-your-swimsuit kind of tank dress. Looking forward to it.
Looking at the photos online, I expected a lighter fabric, but it is a luxurious-feeling knit with a bit more weight to it than expected. It felt very nice against my skin and very breathable. It is seventy percent cotton and thirty percent linen. Here’s what it looks like held up to the light—so you can see what the pattern is actually like.
Now you can see why they call it Breeze Thru Tank Dress. It doesn’t appear sheer when you’ve got it on, though, in my opinion.
In the time I have had to wear it so far, the tank dress seems like it would easily hold up to several years of heavy wear, unlike your standard jersey knit summer tank dress. The knit also seems unlikely to pill and look aged, always a plus.
Although the dress is a solid color, the horizontal seams add style, giving a very simple garment a bit of a voice. Still, it can be worn with almost anything. I expect to wear this Breeze Thru Tank Dress to many a lakeside barbecue this summer. Where will you wear it?
Go in style,
Jacquelyn
