When it comes to sushi, Seattle has no shortage of great spots. I’ve recently been enjoying the new Billy Beach Sushi and Bar in Ballard, so I thought I’d take a moment to round up some of my favorite sushi in Seattle.
Billy Beach Sushi and Bar – Brand new to Ballard this spring, this restaurant by Billy Beach of Wasabi Bistro, Umi Sake House, Rain Sushi, and Japonessa offers carefully-selected seafood with the skill and artistry of a master. Fans of traditional sushi will appreciate the craft along with the signature touches that can’t be found anywhere else.
O’Shan Sushi – Also in Ballard, this little spot up 24th Avenue from Market Street almost hides among the trees and other businesses, a true gem of a neighborhood restaurant. Reliable and stylish, you’ll find fresh and traditional sushi visit after visit.
Kisaku Sushi – This Tangletown restaurant offers fresh and elegant sushi in a welcoming, warm neighborhood setting that’s inviting enough for a weeknight meal yet special enough for a birthday or anniversary.
This list just begins to scratch the surface of the best sushi in Seattle. What are your favorite restaurants? Leave a comment–we’d love to hear your recommendations!
