Story hour at the Shepherd household. Okay, so maybe it was story ten minutes. Yes, at least four or five books were covered. Well, maybe not covered as in “cover-to-cover.” And, ahem, there were one or two distractions. Hmm, maybe there were really a dozen or so distractions. Please note: story hour was kitten approved.

This is fabulous! A little reading, a little laughing, a little poking the kitty. I love this!

Maggie gets a lot of attention. She is a very tolerant and patient 17 year old sweetheart of a cat!

So sweet. I can’t believe she will keep shoes on, mine NEVER has. God help us this winter. Li does not do books – a bummer for me!

Sadly, shoes with velcro are now coming off on a pretty regular basis.

I remember those days fondly. It truly tests the patience of dad, doesn’t it? Luckily my husband did pretty well with it.
