Travel + Leisure magazine predicts that this will be a year of expanding horizons. Planes will cover new routes, corporate motels will put money back into the community, meals will take place in local kitchens and hundreds of mobile apps will make vacations easier. Our journeys will take us further, to more authentic destinations. And what encompasses these trends better than a working holiday visa in Australia or New Zealand?
After all, Oz and NZ lie in the farthest corner of the map, and twelve months of living and traveling around these islands offer a genuine opportunity to live as the natives do.
Need more convincing? Over 190,000 working holiday visas are granted each year in Australia, yet Americans make up just 10% of the total applicants. Maybe because only about 15% of us left North America last year; or perhaps its because a quarter of American workers won’t qualify for any paid holidays this year!
Crunch the numbers now, before 2015 slips away – and give yourself the travel experience of a lifetime!
