I like to think that I have tough feet (I loved running around barefoot when I was a kid) but the truth is that when I first start wearing a pair of flip flops, I have a bit of soreness around the strap – both between my toes and on the top of my foot.
Not so with the OluKai Ohana Sandals.
The synthetic leather strap is soft and pliable enough that even walking four+ miles (on day one of wearing them) ends with none of the soreness that often comes from flip flops where the strap is too stiff.
The Ohana footbed is soft, too. Made from a compression-molded midsole, when you first step into them, it feels like your foot is settling in for a comfy ride.
They’re flip flops, right? There’s not a million things I can say about them for review purposes. But I will say these are the most comfortable pair I’ve ever worn. Long gone are the days of my $2 rubber Cambodian flip flops that literally caused blisters just above my big toes!
The OluKai Ohanas come in 10 different colors (like Plum/Black above) and retail for about $65. This may seem a little pricey for a flip flop, but these really aren’t just any flip flop. They’re as comfy as a shoe. And they’re even vegan-friendly :-).
