Photo of the Day: Bangkok Food Vendor
In just over a week, I’ll be on a plane flying to Bangkok and then preparing to head off (with a group of 14 gals) to Bhutan.
One of the best things about Bangkok is the amazing array of foods found all over the city and availalbe from street vendors. This woman is taking a break between selling her fruits, vegetables and spices to enjoy a lunch.

Yes, the food is amazing in Thailand, isn’t it?! Love all of the colors and textures in your shot. Have a great trip.
I love the colors. I’m ready to grab my market bag and go shopping. Enjoy your trip-sounds exciting!
Haaa. Thai food. Vibrant shot!
Wish I was flying with you guys!!! Thailand is on the top of my list to visit:)
Photo Friday – Hope!
Such engaging colors. I especially like the leaves that serve as the base for all of those wonderful foods. Looks like people in Bangkok have their culinary priorities straight.
That is a beautiful picture. Thailand is one of the places high on my list to visit. Your trip sounds amazing…I wish I could have signed up!
Wish I were coming to, ESPECIALLY for the eats. Maybe when my boys get a bit bigger I can come along on one of your jaunts Beth!
Makes me hungry! I’m a street food fanatic! I hope you enjoy your trip to Bhutan. Once in a university class we were asked to name our dream vacation destination. I said Bhutan. Had to spend the rest of class explaining to my classmates what and where it is! Can’t wait to see pics and hear stories!
Thailand is one of my favourite places in the whole world and food is such a big part of their lives. Whereever you look, there is someone eating! Can’t wait to go back.
Seeing these market scenes in photos and television shows really gets the travel yearning going for me. I really do wish we could travel more, and farther, than we do.
But for now, take-out Thai has to suffice
Thanks for sharing you beautiful photo.
Beautiful! I had a really good excuse to go to Thailand about three years ago and I didn’t take it (why does travel have to cost money??) but I’ve been regretting it ever since. Will get there one day!
