Me too. I contacted a colleague in the spirits industry and asked if there were any alternative cocktails out there my readers might find interesting. Fortunately, she was in the know. Here are three unique cocktails created by industry professionals for you to take your St. Patrick&#8217;s Day cocktail party to the next level.<br />

	<p><strong>Irish Julep by Glenn Lucci, of&#160;<a href="http://www.louis649.com/live/" target="_blank">Louis 649</a></strong></p>

	<p>3 oz Jameson 12 yr<br />
.5 oz <a href="http://www.wisebread.com/aahhh-averna" target="_blank">Averna</a> Amaro<br />
.5 oz simple syrup<br />
1 oz water<br />
6 mint leaves<br />
3 mint sprigs<br />
Crushed ice<br />
Muddle mint, simple syrup and water in a highball glass, add crushed ice and<br />
Jameson, float Averna on top, garnish with mint sprigs.</p>

	<p><strong>Le Fleur Vert (the green flower) by <a href="http://www.theliquidchefinc.com/" target="_self">Junior Merino</a></strong></p>

	<p>1/3 kiwi<br />
2 basil leaves<br />
&#190; oz simple syrup<br />
1 &#189; oz <a href="http://www.g-vine.com/" target="_blank">G&#8217;vine</a> Nouaison<br />
&#188; oz lime juice<br />
2 &#189; oz Moet &#038; Chandon Imperial Brut<br />
Pour the champagne into a special champagne glass. Muddle the kiwi, basil,<br />
and syrup then add the lime juice, G&#8217;vine, ice, shake and double strain in<br />
the glass with the Champagne.</p>

	<p><strong>Pot o&#8217; Gold by <a href="http://www.theliquidchefinc.com/" target="_blank">Junior Merino</a></strong></p>

	<p>1 &#189; oz <a href="http://www.g-vine.com/" target="_blank">G&#8217;vine</a> Floraison<br />
&#190; oz Midori<br />
2 basil leaves<br />
&#190; oz lime juice<br />
&#188; oz simple syrup<br />
&#189; oz pineapple juice<br />
Pour all the ingredients in a shaker, add ice, shake and pour into a tall<br />
glass. Garnish with gooseberry coins and a basil leaf.</p>
