February has been a really exciting month here at WanderShopper. Everyone has definitely been in the Valentine’s spirit and sharing the love. I’m grateful that WanderShopper has gained some new friends this month. I’d especially like to thank Novica for providing the $100 Gift Certificate for WanderShopper’s first contest. I enjoyed hearing about some of your special Valentine’s gifts. The drawing took place last week and the winner of $100 Gift Certificate to Novica is Jill Arnold. Congratulations, Jill! With so many wonderful items at the Novica site, I’m sure it will be hard to choose what to order this time. Please let us know what you selected.
Novica is offering another great prize that I wanted to make sure that you all knew about. They are currently running a Curator contest with National Geographic Expeditions to win an 8 day trip for 2 people to Peru where the winner will visit Machu Picchu. At the Novica site, you can become a curator of your own exhibit. Create a theme for your collection and then select the Novica items that relate to your theme. The contest closes March 12 so you still have time to enter. Learn more of the details by clicking here on the Novica Curator Contest link.
I had a lot of fun this weekend setting up a collection called WanderShopper’s Indigo Dreams. My collection pulls together items from different artistic traditions around Asia to create a tranquil bedroom and personal space. I like to add pops of white to brighten the deep indigo blues. I also think incorporating white and glimmers of silver suggesting moonlight which is perfect for your nocturnal space. I’ve selected a variety of bedroom staples as well as accents and art to make your space special. I’ve even included indigo inspired jewelry so that you too can shine in your sanctuary. The photos in today’s post are of items in the Indigo Dreams Collection. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think.
If you were going to curate your own collection, sourced from anywhere in the world, what would be your theme?
