One thing that people forget is that families live in Las Vegas. The school district is one of the largest in the U.S - that's a lot of kids. Of course the pickings are limited when it comes to fun family stuff to do, they do exist. Would I recommend taking kids on a Vegas vacation? Probably not, but older kids are okay; however, families with younger ones should re-think a to trip to Las Vegas. I just wanted to chime in on the Signature at MGM - I LOVED it. An oasis, if you will, in the midst of the crazy casino/Strip scene. I'd recommend it to couples, groups of friends or families (love the kitchens/kitchenettes). Our plan for holiday travels includes a road trip to CA from CO, w/ a stop in Vegas so my Titanic-obsessed son can go to the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor.
