“Ale to the Chief”- White House Releases Beer Recipes

Who says it takes forever to get anything done in Washington? A little over a week ago, someone was gathering signatures to petition the White House to release their home brewed honey ale. I signed it, hopefully you did too.

The White House blog reads, full of beer and bee puns, “With public excitement about White House beer fermenting such a buzz, we decided we better hop right to it.”

Now I present you the official White House beer recipes, both made from Mrs. Obama’s honey from the onsite beehive and the first alcohol distilled or brewed in the White House:
