As reported on Drink Business today, Brad Pitt will serving his very own wine at his wedding to Angelina Jolie in September at their estate in the south of France. Inquiring minds want to know what this lovely liquid is? Provençal Rosé Pink Floyd, produced at Pitt and Jolie’s Château Miraval in Côtes de Provence.
The wine is named “Pink Floyd” because the band recorded part of their iconic album The Wall at the château, and reportedly became fond of the rose wine during their stay.
The regions of Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne will also be featured in the wedding wine line-up, along with one wine from Germany.
Why would this happily unmarried couple decide to tie the knot now? According to People Magazine, Brad and Angelina have both acknowledged that kids Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and 3-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne ask them about marriage.
“It’s meaning more and more to them,” Joile said last year. “So it’s something we’ve got to look at.”
The unorthodox couple may be walking down the traditional aisle, but according to the Drink Business article, they are still bucking wedding protocol. It is reported that the wedding planning and arrangements are Brad Pitt’s responsibility.
