Stacked Wines may have just solved the on-the-go wine dilemma. It’s a big ordeal when I pack a picnic for a day at the beach or an outdoor concert. Why so? The wine and all its accoutrements. But not any more.
Stacked Wines are a nifty invention by three wine enthusiasts who met while pursuing their MBA’s at UC Irvine. Stacked Wines are four individually packaged glasses of wine, each sealed with a top much like a yogurt, that equal a bottle of wine. Each glass is connected to the next, all you have to do is snap off a glass and sip.
Solo Sipping Solution
Stacked Wines could also be the solution to a night where my boyfriend doesn’t feel like a glass of wine but I do. Flip the lid and here’s a glass of wine without opening a full bottle that usually goes bad. This applies to the parties I host as all guests don’t have the same tastes as I do and I end up with half empty bottles of red and white strewn about.
Reusable & Recyclable
No more of that either with Stacked Wines as they have two Merlot and Chardonnay varietals. And just because it’s convenient and inexpensive, doesn’t mean it’s cheap wine. They brought on a highly regarded sommelier to curate their wines. And the glass is made of high-tech plastic that feels more like a glass than the classic red tumbler kegger cup and completely reusable.
Get Stacked this Summer
With summer fast approaching filled with BBQs, camping trips, lazy days at the pool or toasting the sunset atop a conquered mountain, Stacked Wines is ideal for a easy way to wine and dine anywhere, with the exception of airport security lines.
Now if they could come up with individual martinis or margaritas, the to-go tipple would be complete.
Stacked Wines are only avail in California or online at the moment, from $10-$15 per four pack.
