What was the best thing you ate this week?
For me, it was this yellowfin tuna ceviche from Vancouver’s Hawksworth Restaurant.
Like a traditional Latin American ceviche, this dish starts with fresh, raw fish cured in a tangy, citrus marinade.
Hawksworth’s version takes it up a notch by serving the tuna on a bed of toasted amaranth. This crispy grain has a hearty crunch — almost like Grape-Nuts cereal — that provides a delicious foil for the buttery tuna and its sharp lime-infused marinade.
What about you? What was the tastiest thing on your plate this week, either in your hometown or on the road?
Share a photo of this week’s deliciousness with WanderFood readers by joining the WanderFood Wednesday blog carnival. Here’s how:
- Post a food photo on your site.
- Add a brief description about the photo — or a longer food-focused post — and include a link to WanderFood Wednesday.
- Add your blog name and post title to the “Mr. Linky” form below, with a link directly to your post (not to your main blog). That’s it!
