Food is EXPENSIVE in Norway. Thankfully, breakfast is usually included with your hotel stay – which helps offset some of the costs of eating. And breakfast is usually hardy and plentiful.
If I were a meat-eater, I think I’d likely dive into these eggs with bacon.
Very flat pancakes were usually a part of the breakfast set as well. Perfect for spreading some Nutella 🙂
I overheard a couple of backpacking gals at the airport when I was on my way home. They were talking to a couple of twenty-something guys they had obviously just met.
“Everything was so expensive. We just ate a lot at breakfast, stuffed some things in our bag and then we were set for the day.”
(Not that I’m recommending that or anything…)
