Last week’s post was of a veggie burger I discovered at a street vendor stall in Pushkar, India. This week’s post is probably just as unlikely – this is a pizza that I had in Delhi.
First, I have to admit that I’m a big pizza snob. As a Jersey-ite at heart, I know that there is no better pizza anywhere, than in Northern New Jersey. But last fall, after 5 weeks of travel in Bhutan and India, I couldn’t help but to order a mushroom and cheese pie from the Olive Beach restaurant at the Hotel Diplomat where Jon and I stayed just prior to flying home.
Was it Jersey worthy? NO! But, it was awesome none-the-less.
As a side note, the Hotel Diplomat’s website states that it’s located in the “heart of the elitist part of New Delhi”. I love that there’s no mincing words!
And I did get my veggies, too. Here’s the salad I enjoyed.
