Piiieee Fiiiiiiigggght!
OK - it wasn’t actually a pie fight. It was a pie party. Here are pics from a delicious day of pie eating I attend last week.

Not my cup of tea, but this Chicken Pot Pie DID look good.

This veggie feta spinach pie was right up my alley.

The best! Whoopie Pies (or as some called them, Moon Pies).

The ever popular Zweibelkuchen (I’m sure it was good but it had bacon so I avoided it).

Any Irish out there? Here’s Steak and Guiness Pie.

Chocolate + Pie = always good

Savory Potato Torte Pie

Technically maybe not a pie, but I made Boston Cream – my favorite.

Good thing I wasn’t hungry when I read this one!
Oh! Pie! I want to have a pie party.
How many people do you invite to a pie party?
Wish I’d seen this before my birthday. Next year.
Cool idea – huh? This was at a friend’s house. I think it was their 7th or 8th or 10th time or something like that. You accumulate a lot of expectant pie-seeking tummies after that many pie parties!
I’d have a pie party, but it would not be fair to the other participants, as I make the best pie crust ever. Moon pies? Oh, come on, even Southerners know those are NOT pies!
I’ll let you off the hook on Boston Cream Pie, since it is my husband’s favorite dessert.
And you made everybody stand around and wait while you took pictures, right?
No way – everybody else was taking pics, too. There was plenty of digging right in!
My husband’s office ends each week with Pie Friday. They all stop work at 4:30 and gather for pie, beer, and laughter. No better way to build camaraderie in a bad economy!
No WAY. I love that idea.
If only I didn’t work for myself. Out of my home. I would be all over this idea. Too much work and pie for one person!
