About Nicole Sheets

Nicole Sheets headed east, as in Eastern Europe, for two years with the Peace Corps in the Republic of Moldova (2002-2004). Then she moved west, to Salt Lake City, where she gave up Tevas (except for hiking). Now in Spokane, Washington, she lives in walking distance of a Nordstrom and a waterfall. Sheets is from West Virginia. It's not west of much except Maryland, but it's a fine place to call home.

Sheets’ work has appeared or is forthcoming in Image, DIAGRAM, Western Humanities Review, Tampa Review, Geez Magazine, and other venues, as well as in the anthologies Permanent Vacation (Bona Fide Books, 2010) and Jesus Girls (Cascade Press, 2009).
