Shimmering Lights and Silhouetted Lines

How to be productive, creative and take in the sunshine? Document a walk through a Seattle Park. Discovery Park offers cliffs, and fields, old military buildings, trails through forests, and a lighthouse on the beach. I was mesmerized by the light coming through the trees and reflecting in the pockets of ponds. The light, the emerging buds, the unraveling ferns and sprouts, announcing spring is here. The silhouettes of the tree trunks, branches, and limbs contrasted nicely with the shimmering water of the Sound below.

Thank-you! If you park in the North Parking lot and head down Wolf Tree Nature Trail, you will find ferns and ponds. It is my favorite discovery section apart from the beach. Enjoy!
