July 4th Happenings around the Sound

Looking for something to do this holiday weekend? Here are just some of the events taking place:

Fremont Outdoor Movies – July 3
This week’s movie is July 3 and features Zombie dancing (a la Michael Jackson) and Shaun of the Dead at 10 p.m.

Seattle International Beerfest – July 3 – 5
Held at the Seattle Center, try out 130 different beers from around the world. Admission $20.

Center for Wooden Boats – July 4 – 5
This is the Center’s annual Fourth of July festival on Lake Union. Stop by and visit the heritage wooden boats on display. Includes live music and admission is free.

Chase Family 4th at Lake Union (formerly WAMU fireworks) – July 4
An all day affair for the whole family, get there early to grab yourself a great spot for the fireworks.
