A stroll through Seattle’s Pike Place Market last weekend proved that the drizzle-grey days of winter are giving way to the technicolor of springtime!
Besides the dazzling array of spring colors at the Pike, Pacific Northwesters can also drink in the springtime at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, going on now through May 3rd. According to the festival’s website, some late-blooming tulips allowed them to push the end date forward, and locals are happy to continue in the festivities. On offer are helicopter tours, boat excursions, winery tours, art exhibitions and more.
