Some might fend off a mid-life crisis by leaving the comforts of their corporate salary to jet off to a deserted island. Others might buy a Jaguar. I’ve chosen to dive head-long into my 50s and beyond by becoming a first-time parent. I’ve traveled halfway around the world (several times) before adopting my daughter, and now I share my musings about life with a toddler in the Pacific Northwest.

We’ve seen all these things in Amsterdam and I just love it! Gotta be the greatest way of life, in my opinion.
I was lucky enough to live in Amsterdam back in 1980….loved the city. Rode my bike in from the “suburbs” to school every day.
I love the bucket bikes for kids! I wish we had more of these things in Seattle….or maybe we do?? Our family is just getting into biking:)
I should check into it. I haven’t seen many of them. The are ALL over Amsterdam…that city is really set up for biking and everyone does!
