Some might fend off a mid-life crisis by leaving the comforts of their corporate salary to jet off to a deserted island. Others might buy a Jaguar. I’ve chosen to dive head-long into my 50s and beyond by becoming a first-time parent. I’ve traveled halfway around the world (several times) before adopting my daughter, and now I share my musings about life with a toddler in the Pacific Northwest.

Must be a fascinating place!
It is indeed. Beautiful and complicated all at the same time.
I am just now looking into Armenian adoption, but I haven’t found any online blogs like for most countries to read about it and ask questions. I’d love to talk with you to learn more about it.
Hi Stephen,
We adopted through Hopscotch Adoptions. Here is a link to their website. I know they would be happy to offer information on the process (and their website may answer some of your questions too). There is also a public Yahoo forum for people considering or in the process of adopting from Armenia: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/armenian-adoption-interest/
