The Four Seasons family of luxury hotels is one of the most kid-friendly luxury hotel chains out there. While I’ve heard about their Kids For All Seasons program for years, I’d yet to experience it first hand.
So I jumped at the opportunity to bring my kids to the Four Seasons Scottsdale at Troon North and check things out for myself.
From the moment we arrived in our villa, the kids were bouncing around the room with a level of excitement usually reserved for Christmas morning or the last day of school.
They were checking out the views, trying on the luxe bathroom robes and rolling around on the bed. The villas at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale were plenty big for our family.
But with only this brief delay, we were all on the same mission. The Pool.
The Four Seasons Pool.
The pool at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is set up perfectly for both families and travelers sans children. The upper pool, closes to the restrooms and poolside restaurant, is family friendly, while the lower pool is very sensibly reserved for adult guests only.
Kids for all Seasons.
Just because you’re traveling with kiddos doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a little down time. You can read all about the Four Seasons “A Seasons for all Kids” program here, but it’s something you should see to believe.
Included in your stay is use of this impressive kids club. Kids can play games, color, and watch movies in a large and comfortable theater-style room, play video games, fooseball and more. Lunch is provided each day as well.
My son especially loved the Lego wall!
Kids center staff bring kids to the pool in the morning and afternoon and have activities, like jewelry making and other craft projects, planned throughout the day.
Children must be at least five years old to stay at the kids center without parents, however the front desk was able to organize an amazing last minute sitter for my little guy so I could enjoy a massage and some down-time one morning. The sitter stayed with the kids at the pool, ordered them lunch there, brought them back to the room and had everyone cleaned up and relaxing when I returned. Exactly what I was hoping for after an amazing massage in the spa!
The ability to spend time with your kids, but be assured they are in good (fun!) hands if you want to spend some time alone, is perhaps one of the most luxurious aspects of this stunning hotel in the Sonoran Desert of all.
While there are plenty of dining options around Scottsdale, we opted to stay put and dine on site. Proof Canteen, the Four Seasons’ causal restaurant on site, was the deliciously perfect option for a stress-free family meal.
Our stay at the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North was exactly what our family needed; relaxing and fun. Have you experienced a Four Seasons Resort with kids before?
This stay was provided free of charge/at a discount for review purposes, but all opinions expressed are my own.
